The Stories Project, a documentary short film, follows 11 young adult mentors during a summer day camp for refugee-background youth called GLOBE (Gaining Learning Opportunities through Better English). The film portrays how, through learning about one another’s personal histories and perspectives, we can realize our shared humanity. The Stories Project is intended for use by educators to generate critical, social justice-oriented conversations that dismantle negative stereotypes about (im)migrants and refugees and further people’s understanding about why refugees migrate to and (re)settle in the United States.
